JOIN US to make history as part of the biggest climate event the UK.
Taking place between 18-26 September there are events across Watford and Three Rivers ranging from walks to movies, litter picks to food demonstration events, plus community and climate focused events – there is something for everyone.
The Great Big Green Week campaign aims to draw attention to climate change, destruction of the natural world, while also making a connection with these issues and actions locally in Watford and Three Rivers.
This year, we in the UK have a huge opportunity to raise the ambition of plans to tackle climate change at home and abroad. The UK is hosting a major UN climate summit, known as COP26, in Glasgow this November. The time is now to be part of a Great Big Green Week that sets the stage for the most ambitious climate summit ever. Together we will show decision makers that people from all walks of life are stepping up to take action on climate change – and we need them to step up too.
