The Hertfordshire Environment Hustings – meet County election candidates

Join us to meet and question Herts County Council candidates about their stance on environmental issues in the run up to May 2021 elections.
About this Event
Friends of the Earth groups across the Hertfordshire are putting on this Environmental Hustings so you can question candidates from the Conservative, Green, Labour and Liberal Democrat parties (two candidates representing each party), with a focus on tackling the climate crisis.
This May, we all have an opportunity to ensure hundreds of councils, no matter their political party, take climate breakdown seriously and commit to making our towns and cities greener and fairer for everyone.
Come along and hear what Hertfordshire County Council candidates’ plans are to address the climate crisis and ensure a green and fair recovery from the pandemic and have a chance to ask your own questions.
The Hustings will be held on Monday 19th April, opening at 1855, for a 1900 start, and finish at 2030.
