Litter pick by canal barge

This event is being brought together by a quartet of organisations, Paper Mill at Frogmore, Just One Bag, Sunnyside and Abbots in Transition. The event will be on Friday 14th June, with the barge and the pilot to keep the boat on track, working the canal between Kings Langley and Hunton Bridge.

Sunnyside will be travelling on the barge from from Apsley to Hunton Bridge. Our aim is to litter pick at Hunton Bridge only.

We will send a team ahead to set up and begin at 10am. We will be clearing the area along the canal around the A41/Langleybury junction between 10am-2pm.

The barge will provide free lunch and refreshments to anyone helping litter pick.

The barge will leave at 2pm to make the journey back to Apsley with the collected waste.

We will have a presence on site litter picking from 10-2pm and all welcome to join.
