Biographical Info

SPOKES is a local organisation formed 25 years ago to promote cycling in South West Hertfordshire.

We have regular rides program and campaign for a network of safe cycling routes. We are supporting the Green Week with rides around the proposed Watford Green Ring on Saturday18 September.

We believe cycling to be a major contributor for healthy living & reducing the effects of Climate change.

SPOKES raises issues with the local authorities about the poor condition on many of our cycling routes and tries to influence & encourage the development of a high quality safe cycling environment.
