Biographical Info

Friends of Cassiobury Park is a charitable organisation that works to represent park users, who fall in love with the park’s special charm, and who know it is a place to be looked after and cherished for the enjoyment of all ages and future generations.

We are fortunate in Watford to have a magnificent park to enjoy for sport, dog walking, birdwatching, playing with our children, picnicking, having a coffee with friends, or simply walking through the extensive woodlands.

We support the park by….

• Engaging with members, other park stakeholders, the Park Manager, and Watford Council to discuss and influence issues that affect Cassiobury.
• Contributing to the development and maintenance of the nature reserve by working with Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust.
• Creating wildlife habitats, manage woodland, and clear litter by working as volunteers.
• Encouraging a wide variety of birdlife by filling the park bird feeders with seed in the winter.
• Producing regular e-bulletins and a quarterly ‘Park Life’ e-magazine to keep members up to date with what is going on in Cassiobury Park.
